Toshiba supporting School Business Managers

School Business Managers play an essential role in supporting effective and successful school operations. They ensure that everything from cleaning to IT, building management to utility supplies runs without glitches, so that the school can focus on delivering the best quality education to its students.

One of the most important roles of the Business Manager is the purchase of the school’s equipment and services, managing budgets and ensuring the school gets value for money. When it comes to the purchase of print and imaging (essential for teachers, administrative staff and students) Toshiba is proud to support School Business Managers in school across Australia.

Here’s some of the ways we do that

• Understanding your requirements – we have dedicated education account managers, many of whom come from an education background, whose sole role is to understand business managers’ requirements for print and imaging and provide solutions that meet them. We listen to what you need – for example, a school business manager recently told us that when I choose suppliers, I base my decision on their ability to deliver on time as well as on price.’ We take information like that and feed it back into our customer service process to ensure provide exactly what you need.
  
  
• Supporting your events – in May 2024, Toshiba had a stand at the Business Managers Victoria conference. Our local education team were in attendance, giving them the opportunity to build and strengthen relationships, continue learning about your requirements and showcase how Toshiba can support you to support your school.
  
  Toshiba will also host a stand at the School Business Managers Association of Queensland (SBMAQ) conference on the Gold Coast. The conference runs from July 31st to August 1st. • Donations – Toshiba provides donations to schools. These can either be used directly by the school, or used to raise funds. One Victorian school recently used our donation as a raffle prize, which raised thousands of dollars that the school can put towards key projects.
