Seamless integration from classroom to cloud

AIS ICT ToshibaWhen the Association of Independent Schools (NSW) held its ICT expo in May this year, Toshiba was there – talking to school IT leaders about how smart apps can help to make light work of schools’ demanding document management challenges.

‘Seamless integration from classroom to cloud’ was our theme, and it really piqued the interest of schools across the board. We showcased our locally developed, Toshiba device tested, school specific middleware and apps, which streamline the onerous task of student and work records management.

We demonstrated

Toshiba developed both these apps in our Australian R&D facilities in Sydney and Brisbane. Unlike many other school apps, Toshiba’s Kōdo applications are designed specifically for Australian schools, and work directly with Toshiba MFDs, with no additional third party tools or plug ins.

Delegates were impressed to hear that Toshiba is unique amongst MFD manufacturers in having Research & Development (R&D) located in Australia, and to see that we were the only MFD vendor at the show.

Visitors to the Toshiba stand could register their interest for the free 60 day trial of Kōdo Classroom (check out the link below to register for your trial).

Visitors with a competitive streak entered our ‘guess how many sheets of paper’ contest.  The winner, Shayne Blakemore from King’s Christian College, guessed within a few sheets of the correct answer of 2450. Shane was delighted to walk away with the prize of an expresso machine and a hamper packed with coffee goodies.
